Sanatan Dinda

Born in 1971 and graduated with a 1st Class from Government College of Arts & Crafts, Calcutta. He has exhibited extensively in India and the UK, in both group and solo shows. His sculptures and paintings are proudly owned by Government, private and corporate collectors in India, UK, Germany, Japan and Australia. Sculpture being his forte; he has been able to incorporate figures standing in relief from his beautifully executed canvasses. He infuses his characters too with a three dimensional quality, which transcends the medium of an otherwise flat canvas, the deep cracks symbolizing the harsh realities of life. The artist lives and works in Kolkata.
