Chaitali De Chanda (b. 1977, West Bengal) is an artist whose works celebrate the quiet beauty of nature, particularly the overlooked flora and fauna of rural India. From beetle nuts to banana flowers, her paintings are poetic tributes to life’s understated abundance. Trained in painting at the Indian College of Art and Draftsmanship under Rabindra Bharati University (2002), and further enriched by Gurukul Parichaya Shikshakram (2004), her artistic journey is rooted in a deep, personal dialogue with the natural world. Chaitali has held several solo exhibitions across India, including at Academy of Fine Arts (Kolkata), Bajaj Art Gallery (Mumbai), Open Palm Court (Delhi), and Gallery Soul Spice (Chennai). Her work continues to evolve with sincerity and vibrance from her studio in Kolkata.
