Amit, a master in semi realistic technique of texturing with the realistic play of light and shade, is a self taught artist.

The dazzling, pristine, rustic beauty of rural Bengal inspired Amit to start painting at a very early age. Amit is comfortable painting on all subject.

While studying at the Calcutta Government Art College, he was blessed with the guidance of Shri Paresh Das, a noted artist and gold medalist.

He has so far been part of over 40 group shows and 12 solo shows. His paintings adorn many homes and offices across India, Europe, US and Canada.
